How can I delete browsing history records on Google Chrome?
Let’s see How Google is following your activities and Browsing data?
Every day from waking up to till sleep, you, me, and everyone are using google applications such as YouTube, Gmail, Google Account, Google Keep, and many more which are free of cost.
Do you think Google is Dumb enough to provide these valuable applications free of cost?
Noooo…
Google is providing these applications at free of cost only to collect valuable data from users through these free applications in form of Cookies, Caches, images, audio recording, etc.,
Always think while allowing free applications to access your device data…they may steal your sensitive information related to your bank or private space.
Google is not one who steals your data, it only monetizes your data by providing personalized advertising settings to its customers.
Let’s have a look How Google is using our browsing and online activities.
After collecting the user data, Google will create a customer profile based on information such as Name, Age, Interests, needs, shopping habits, and your behavior patterns based on browsing activities, Google map location activities, etc.
After creating a customer profile, Google will show your data such as age, interests, location, and behavior patterns to its clients while selecting their Target audience in Google Adwords.
Let’s see an example to get this
Let’s consider you are a cricket lover, you are watching Previous IPL matches highlights on YouTube
.
From your watch history, Google will store your interest in Cricket.
Whenever Cricket-based OTT platforms like HotStar want to run ads to increase their user base. Google will show Cricket Lover as Audience Interests.
If Google Advertiser selects audience Interest as Cricket, Google Adword will show Cricket related ads such as OTT subscriptions or Products related to cricket such as T-shirts or Cricket kit.
This is the Science behind the ads that are displaying on your screen like Hutch Dog.
As in the above-mentioned example, Google is monetizing the complete data of its users.
So
It is always better to secure your privacy by deleting the Google chrome browsing history and stopping Google from spying on your online activities.
I hope you understood, How Google is following your activities.
